The turtle is a reminder that healing cannot be rushed . It says "there is no shortcut through transformation" , especially in a culture that constantly tells us to heal faster, move on, get over it, and become "better" as quickly as possible. To me, it represents the slow nature of transformation, the importance of being present rather than constantly chasing the next destination, and the reminder that although we may not always feel protected, we carry our own shelter within us.

She (The figure) has no face by design. I didn't want identity to be represented by physical features, but instead , by the energy, or spirit contained inside the body.

This painting is about moving through emotions, lessons, memories, and change at your own pace. It's about trusting that even when progress feels slow, something meaningful is unfolding beneath the surface.

Healing isn't a destination.

It's a journey.
